1. Torre Miramar
Description:
This well-known spot is a legal skate spot, but it is not an official skatepark. There is a lot of space and obstacles. You can learn to jump from the stairs, boardslide on the handrail, skate on the ledges. It is suitable for intermediate and advanced skaters, there is also a low ledge available. The spot is located just below the big 'Miramar Tower' and is easily accessible.

Handrail, 1 x 4 stairs, 2 x 5 stairs, 1 x 3 stairs, 1 x 6 stairs, flatground, many ledges and also a ledge going down.

2. Plaza de Natzaret
Description:
In this square there are several obstacles on which you can skate, there is a lot of space. Good surface, a bit inclined. There is a bank and stairs.

3. Skate Spot Gulliver
Description:
Next to the 'skatepark Gulliver', you have a large flatground area. The spot is surrounded by bars that you can hold on to to practice flat tricks, for example. There is also a low quarter with no coping where you can learn transition tricks. The ground is good, it's a good spot for beginners.

4. Camp de minigolf
Description:
On the permanently closed mini-golf course near the Gulliver skate park you can give free rein to your creativity. You can only skate on the green obstacles, the ground is made of stones. Fun spot!

5. Carrer dels Jardins
Description:
Near the steps of the 'Plaça Jesús Maroto i Gonzalez', there is also a small ledge where you can grind. The ground is not super and makes a lot of noise.

6. Avenida Aragón
Description:
At the metro station, a nice path between trees between the two motorways. The ground is smooth and there are 2 times 6 ledges one in front of the other, very good for doing ledge tricks, not many people.

7. Parc Infantil Jardí De Morvedre
Description:
Throughout the park there are boxes from which you can jump or do grind tricks. There are lots of benches, stairs with lots of space between them, hand pads in the shape of a triangle, an inclined wall where you can do wallrides, use your creativity, a fun place! Some kids can play and parents can sit on the benches, but there is plenty of space to skate.

8. Labora
Description:
It is in the middle of a square with all the terraces, it is next to a playground where children can play. There are a lot of people sitting around the place. The ground is not ideal for skating.

9. Grao
Description:
The ground is not perfect for skating. A nice view and some stair compensate for that.

10. Almassora Manual Pad
Description:
At the metro stop 'Pont de Fusta' you have a long manual pad where you can perform various tricks. You can jump on it or off it, do grind tricks,… Good for beginners and more experienced skaters.

11. Fonteta de Sant Lluis
Description:
Quiet place with 2 times 4 stairs, few people pass by, the ground is a bit noisy. There is a concrete field next to it, perfect for practice.

12. Plaça del Escultor Pastor
Description:
Next to the Pista de futbol i bàsquet "la Fonteta de Sant Lluís" there is a long manual pad/box where you can perform various tricks. When there are no people playing sport on the basketball court, you can use it as a flatground. The ground near the manual pad can sometimes be covered with leaves, sometimes there can be people sitting.

13. Mercat de Russafa
Description:
In the middle of the park there is a beautiful monument with 3 stairs, during the day people can sit there in the sun, the ground is not too bad.

14. Plaça Jesús Maroto i Gonzalez
Description:
In the square there are 3 high stairs you can jump from (for the best skaters), you can also do gravel tricks on the ledge or jump from the ledge, people can sometimes sit on the stairs.

15. Placa dels Arouitectes Calvo
Description:
A place with different obstacles where you can use your creativity, for beginners, intermediate and advanced. There is a concrete rail (long), boxes for jumping, benches on which you can do a hippie jump, there are also half spheres from which you can do a tail drop (advanced). The ground makes a bit of noise.

16. Antiguo azud de la Acequia de Rovella
Description:
In the middle of the park, there is a large empty space. Very good surface and no people.

17. Tabacalera
Description:
The ground is not too bad, the stairs are good for exercise, it is in a quiet area with few people.

18. Plaça de la Botxa
Description:

19. La Lonja de la Seda
Description:
A quiet square with good flooring and a marble bench that looks like oldschool. Ideal learning place when the MUVIM next door is busy.

20. Plaça de Nápols I Sicília
Description:
A square with a perfect surface, perfect for beginners to learn to skate: learn to do 50-50 grinds, learn to jump stairs, powerslides on the slippery floor, …. There are stairs of different heights, manual pads, benches to do hippie jumps, ledges on the stairs, FUN SPOT!

1. Torre Miramar
Descripción:
Este conocido spot es un sitio legal para patinar, pero no es un skatepark oficial. Hay mucho espacio y obstáculos. Puedes aprender a saltar desde las escaleras, hacer boardslide en el handrail, patinar en los ledges. Es adecuado para patinadores intermedios y avanzados, también hay disponible un saliente bajo. El spot está situado justo debajo de la gran 'Torre Miramar' y es fácilmente accesible.

2. Plaza de Natzaret
Descripción:
En esta plaza hay varios obstáculos sobre los que puedes patinar, hay mucho espacio. Buen superficie, un poco inclinado. Hay un bank y escaleras.

3. Skate Spot Gulliver
Descripción:
Junto al 'skatepark Gulliver', tienes una amplia zona de flatground. El spot está rodeado de barras a las que puedes agarrarte para practicar trucos planos, por ejemplo. También hay un quarter bajo sin coping donde puedes aprender trucos de transición. El suelo es bueno, es un buen lugar para principiantes.

4. Camp de minigolf
Descripción:
En el campo de minigolf permanentemente cerrado, cerca de la pista de skate Gulliver, podrás dar rienda suelta a tu creatividad. Sólo se puede patinar sobre los obstáculos verdes, el suelo es de piedras. Fun spot!

5. Carrer dels Jardins
Descripción:
Cerca de la escalinata de la 'Plaça Jesús Maroto i Gonzalez', también hay un pequeño saliente en el que se puede grindar. El suelo no es super y hace mucho ruido.

6. Avenida Aragón
Descripción:
En la estación de metro, un buen camino entre árboles entre las dos autopistas. El suelo es smooth y hay 2 veces 6 ledges uno frente al otro, muy bien para hacer trucos de ledges, no hay mucha gente.

7. Parc Infantil Jardí De Morvedre
Descripción:
En todo el parque hay boxes desde los que se puede saltar o hacer grind trucos. Hay muchos bancos, escaleras con mucho espacio entre ellas, manual pads en forma de triángulo, un muro inclinado en el que se pueden hacer wallrides, usa la creatividad, ¡un lugar divertido! Algunos niños pueden jugar y los padres sentarse en los bancos, pero hay mucho espacio para patinar.

Manual pads altos, manual pads bajos, más de 5 ledges, boxes desde los que se puede saltar, bancos, flatground, un muro alto y empinado.

8. Labora
Descripción:
Está en medio de una plaza con todas las terrazas, está al lado de un parque infantil donde pueden jugar los niños. Hay mucha gente sentada alrededor del lugar. El suelo no es ideal para patinar.

Un incremento con 1 escalera y un pequeño saliente corto.

9. Grao
Descripción:
El suelo no es perfecto para patinar. Una bonita vista y unas escaleras lo compensan.

10. Almassora Manual Pad
Descripción:
En la parada de metro 'Pont de Fusta' tienes un manual pad largo donde puedes realizar varios trucos. Puedes saltar encima o fuera de él, hacer grind tricks,... Bueno para principiantes y mejores patinadores.

11. Fonteta de Sant Lluis
Descripción:
Un lugar tranquilo con 2 veces 4 escaleras, pasa poca gente, el suelo hace un poco de ruido. Hay una pista de concreto al lado, perfecta para practicar.

12. Plaça del Escultor Pastor
Descripción:
Al lado de la Pista de futbol i bàsquet la Fonteta de Sant Lluís hay un largo manual pad/box en que se pueden realizar varios trucos. Cuando no hay gente practicando deporte en la cancha de baloncesto, puedes utilizarla como flatground. El suelo cerca del manual pad a veces puede estar cubierto de hojas, a veces puede haber gente sentada.

13. Mercat de Russafa
Descripción:
En medio del parque hay un hermoso monumento con 3 escaleras, durante el día la gente puede sentarse allí al sol, el suelo no está tan mal.

14. Plaça Jesús Maroto i Gonzalez
Descripción:
En la plaza hay 3 escaleras altas desde las que puedes saltar (para los mejores patinadores), también puedes hacer trucos de grava en el ledge o saltar desde el ledge, la gente puede sentarse a veces en las escaleras.

15. Placa dels Arouitectes Calvo
Descripción:
Un lugar con diferentes obstáculos donde puedes usar tu creatividad, para principiantes, intermedios y avanzados. Un rail de concreto (largo), boxes de conreto para saltar, bancos sobre los que se puede hacer un salto hippie, también hay medias esferas desde las que puedes hacer tail drop (avanzados). El suelo hace un poco de ruido.

16. Antiguo azud de la Acequia de Rovella
Descripción:
En medio del parque, hay un gran espacio vacío. Muy buena superficie y no hay gente.

17. Tabacalera
Descripción:
El suelo no está tan mal, las escaleras son buenas para hacer ejercicio, está en una zona tranquila con poca gente.

18. Plaça de la Botxa
Descripción:
Es un lugar tranquilo, no hay gente, con 3 ledges que se suceden, el suelo puede ser resbaladizo y es divertido hacer powerslides.

19. La Lonja de la Seda
Descripción:
Una plaza tranquila con buen suelo y un banco de mármol que parece oldschool. Lugar de aprendizaje ideal cuando el MUVIM de al lado está ocupado.

20. Plaça de Nápols I Sicília
Descripción:
Una plaza con una superficie perfecta, perfecta para que los principiantes aprendan a patinar: aprende a hacer 50-50 grinds, aprende a saltar escaleras, powerslides por el suelo resbaladizo, ... Hay escaleras de diferentes alturas, manual pads, bancos para hacer hippie jumps, ledges en las escaleras, FUN SPOT!

1. MuVIM
Descripción:
Uno de los skate spots más famosos de Valencia, junto al museo de historia, entre las piezas históricas. Los salientes/ledges son perfectos para tragar. Hay pequeñas escaleras donde se puede aprender 50-50, hay escaleras desde las que se puede saltar de bajo a alto, se puede practicar manual, powerslides debido a la superficie lisa y es un suelo perfecto para hacer trucos planos.

2. Tinglado 2
Descripción:
Uno de los skate spots más famosos de Valencia, con vistas al agua y al puerto tienes una gran zona de suelo perfecto para patinar, está bajo un gran toldo, también hay ledges, mucha gente patinando, fácil hacer amigos.

Muy buena superficie, grande espacio, ledges para saltar

3. Aparcamiento Tinglado 4 y 5
Descripción:
Cerca de popular spot Tinglado 2, muy util durante eventos organizados alli. Buen suelo, perfecto para principiantes, normalmente aquí no aparcan coches, muchos surf skaters y longboarders.

4. Centromusica
Descripción:
Está en pleno centro de Valencia, al lado del famoso spot MuVIM, está en una calle muy transitada.

5. La Almoina Museum
Descripción:
Está al lado del museo, puede pasar mucha gente en verano, hay muchos sitios para patinar cerca y el suelo es bueno, los ledges son altos.

6. Les Arts Valencia
Descripción:
El obstáculo es más para patinadores avanzados. Es perfecto para grabar vídeos, ahí puedes usar la creatividad, por ejemplo, puedes usar la pirámide como ledge. Para llegar: si vienes del parque 'The River' y miras hacia Ciutat Les Arts tienes un muro, tienes que bajar a la izquierda del muro. Está cerca del skatepark 'Gulliver'.

7. Alameda
Descripción:
Debajo del puente, es un gran lugar para grabar vídeos, especialmente para patinadores profesionales, usar la creatividad, puedes hacer wallrides, drops, ...

8. Monumento a Valentia
Descripción:
Es un buen lugar para rodar skate clip una vez, no es adecuado para principiantes. Está cerca de un carril muy transitado.

9. Los Planos Verdes
Descripción:
Merece la pena ir, es divertido, puedes montarlo pero también hacer trucos en él, para todos los niveles de patinador, muy buena superficie.

10. Porta des Serrans
Descripción:
Delante del monumento histórico Porta des Serrans, al principio del casco antiguo, puede haber mucha gente por la tarde, bueno para patinadores intermedios y avanzados.

2 x 2 ledges y 2 x 3 bloques concretos separado, muy buena superficie

11. Palau de la Música
Descripción:
En el centro del River, pasa mucha gente, el suelo hace y poco ruido, hay mucho espacio y muchos obstáculos donde puedes usar tu creatividad, bonito lugar, definitivamente merece la pena.

12. Fuente de agua potable
Descripción:
Hay mucho espacio entre las 4 escaleras, por lo que es perfecto para que los patinadores principiantes aprendan a saltar escaleras. Hay un ledge a 4 etapas donde se puede aprender perfectamente 50-50, noseslide, tailslide,… El handrail es baja y por lo tanto bueno para aprender. El suelo hace un poco ruido y a veces puede haber niños jugando porque está cerca de un parque infantil. El kickers son divertidos para saltar.

13. La Fontsanta
Descripción:
En medio del parque hay un hermoso monumento con 3 escaleras, durante el día las personas mayores pueden sentarse allí al sol, el suelo no está tan mal.

Descripción:

Descripción:
Un spot fantástico para grabar vídeos, hay 2 manual pads (a la izquierda y a la derecha), entre los 2 pads manuales hay 4 esferas/muros inclinados desde los que puedes dejarte caer o hacer wallrides, el spot está bajo el puente, este spot realmente vale la pena.

Descripción:
Es un pequeño y conocido skate spot en pleno casco antiguo de Valencia. Allí podrás dar rienda suelta a tu creatividad. Es perfecto para hacer hippie jumps sobre los bancos, fun spot.

18. Pg. de la Petxina
Descripción:
Si subes desde el skate spot bajo el puente (Pont del Nou d'Octubre) por la rampa inclinada, tienes una pequeña plaza en la que puedes hacer manualidades o saltar por encima. Es oldskool, cerca de la carretera, puedes usar tu creatividad.

Descripción:
En plena ciudad de Valencia, al fondo del Mercat Central de Valencia. Mejor patinar por la tarde porque hay menos gente, muy buena superficie, escaleras para rodar, bancos para hacer hippie jump.

Descripción:
Justo enfrente del café Bolseria en el centro de 'El Carmen', la superficie para la manual pad no es ideal y a veces hay coches aparcados. En verano, la plaza está llena de gente, demasiado ocupado para patinar.

1. MuVIM
Description:
Next to the MuVIM museum you have one of the most famous skate spots of Valencia. It is located between the historical artistically pieces. The ledges are perfect for all kind of grind tricks, there are small stairs where you can learn 50-50, there are stairs from where you can jump from low to high, you can practice manual and powerslides because of the smooth surface and it's a perfect ground to do flat tricks.

2. Tinglado 2
Description:
One of the most popular skate spots of Valencia, it is a large open area under a roof with perfect smooth ground to skate on with a beautiful sight on the harbour and the sea. There are also ledges/ banks where you can grind or jump on. There are always a lot of people chilling/ skating/ longboarding, etc. Easy to make new friends!

3. Aparcamiento Tinglado 4 y 5
Description:
Close to the popular spot Tinglado 2, smooth ground, perfect for beginners, usually no cars parked here, a lot of surf skaters and longboarders.

4. Centromusica
Description:
Located in the city centre of Valencia, next to the famous spot MuVIM, it is close to a busy street.

5. La Almoina Museum
Description:
Next to and in front of l' Almoina Museum there are a lot of stairs, ledges and smooth ground to skate on, in the summer there can be a lot of people, the ledges are high.

6. Les Arts Valencia
Description:
The obstacle is more for advanced skaters. It's a beautiful place to make videos, you can use your creativity: for example, you can use the pyramid as a ledge. To get there: if you come from 'The River' park and look towards Ciutat Les Arts you have a wall, you have to go down to the left of the wall. It is near the skatepark 'Gulliver'.

Description:

Description:

In front of the historical monument Porta des Serrans, at the beginning of the old town of Valencia, it can get very crowded in the afternoon, good for intermediate and advanced skaters.

11. Palau de la Música
Description:
In the middle of the River, a lot of people pass by, the ground makes little noise, there is a lot of space and a lot of obstacles where you can use your creativity, nice place, definitely worth it!

12. Fuente de agua potable
Description:
There is a lot of space between the 4 stairs so it is perfect for beginner skaters to learn how to jump off stairs. There is a 4-stair ledge where you can perfectly learn 50-50, nose slide, tail slide, etc. The handrail is low and therefore good for first handrail slides. The ground is a bit noisy and sometimes there can be children playing because it is close to a playground. The kickers are fun to jump.

Description:
In the middle of the park there is a beautiful monument with 3 stairs, during the day older people can sit there in the sun, the ground is OK.

Description:
Besides the well known spot 'Tinglado 2' you have a big area with smooth ground, stairs and 2 wooden manual pads. It's a great place to make videos, there are a lot of skaters, longboarders, scooters, etc.

Description:
A fantastic spot to make videos, there are 2 manual pads (one left and one right), between the 2 manual pads there are 4 sloping 'walls' from which you can drop or do wallrides, the spot is under the bridge, this spot is really worth it.

Description:

Description:
This is a small, well-known skate spot in the heart of Valencia's old town. Here you can give free play to your creativity. It's perfect for hippie jumps over the benches, little 50-50 grinds on the ramps, etc. Fun spot!

En este video aprenderás a coger el skate y acelerar
Coger el skate y empezar a patinar puede ser un poco intimidante al principio, pero con un poco de práctica y orientación, puede convertirse en algo natural. Aquí tienes una guía paso a paso para coger el skate y empezar:
- Colócate junto al skate: Empieza colocándote junto a tu skate con los pies separados a la altura de los hombros.
- Coloca el pie delantero sobre la tabla: Agáchate y coloca el pie delantero sobre la tabla, colocándolo sobre los tornillos delanteros del truck.
- Dobla las rodillas: Dobla ligeramente las rodillas para bajar el centro de gravedad y mantener el equilibrio.
- Empuja con el pie trasero: Con el pie de atrás, empújate del suelo para coger impulso y empezar a avanzar.
- Desplaza el peso: Una vez en movimiento, desplaza el peso hacia el pie delantero para mantener el equilibrio y el control.
- Practica los giros: A medida que adquieras más confianza, practica los giros desplazando el peso y utilizando los dedos de los pies para dirigir la tabla.
- Reducir la velocidad y parar: Cuando estés listo para reducir la velocidad o detenerte, utiliza el pie trasero para arrastrarte por el suelo detrás de la tabla.
Recuerda, la práctica es clave cuando se trata de patinar. No te desanimes si tardas unos cuantos intentos en cogerle el truco. Sigue practicando y pronto te sentirás cómodo cogiendo el skate y desplazándote con facilidad. Y lleva siempre equipo de protección para evitar lesiones.

- Stand next to your skateboard: Start by standing next to your skateboard with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Place your front foot on the board: Bend down and place your front foot on the board, positioning it over the front truck bolts.
- Bend your knees: Bend your knees slightly to lower your center of gravity and keep your balance.
- Use your back foot to push off: With your back foot, push off the ground to gain momentum and start moving forward.
- Shift your weight: Once you're moving, shift your weight to your front foot to maintain balance and control.
- Practice turning: As you gain more confidence, practice turning by shifting your weight and using your toes to steer the board.
- Slow down and stop: When you're ready to slow down or stop, use your back foot to drag on the ground behind the board.

Tic Tac is a classic skateboarding maneuver that involves shifting your weight from side to side on the skateboard while rolling forward. It's a fundamental skill that is essential for navigating around obstacles, changing direction quickly, and even performing more advanced tricks.
Here are some tips for practicing Tic Tac without falling:
- Start by getting comfortable with your skateboard. Practice riding in a straight line and turning slowly by leaning your weight in the direction you want to go.
- Once you feel comfortable on your skateboard, begin practicing Tic Tac by placing your feet in the Tic Tac stance. This involves positioning your front foot near the middle of the board, and your back foot at a slight angle on the tail.
- Begin rolling forward at a slow pace, and shift your weight from side to side by leaning your shoulders and hips in the direction you want to turn. As you shift your weight, use your back foot to push the tail of the board down and out, which will help you initiate the turn.
- Focus on keeping your movements fluid and controlled, and avoid jerky or sudden movements that could cause you to lose balance.
- As you become more comfortable with the movement, gradually increase your speed and try turning on different surfaces, such as concrete or asphalt.

El Tic Tac es una maniobra clásica del skate que consiste en desplazar tu peso de lado a lado sobre el monopatín mientras ruedas hacia delante. Es una habilidad fundamental que resulta esencial para sortear obstáculos, cambiar de dirección rápidamente e incluso realizar trucos más avanzados.
Aquí tienes algunos consejos para practicar el Tic Tac sin caerte:
- Empieza por sentirte cómodo con tu skateboard. Practica la conducción en línea recta y gira lentamente inclinando tu peso en la dirección en la que quieres ir.
- Cuando te sientas cómodo con el skateboard, empieza a practicar el Tic Tac colocando los pies en la postura del Tic Tac. Esto implica colocar el pie delantero cerca del centro de la tabla, y el pie trasero en un ligero ángulo en la cola.

In this video you will learn how to start skateboarding:
Half flip jumping on a skateboard is a trick that involves jumping in the air, doing a half flip with the board, and then landing back on it. It may take some practice to get the hang of it, but with some patience and persistence, it can be a fun and impressive trick to add to your skateboarding repertoire.
Here are some steps to help you get started with half flip jumping:
- Start by standing on your skateboard with your feet positioned just behind the trucks, and your toes hanging off the edge of the board.
- Begin rolling forward at a slow pace, and crouch down slightly to prepare for the jump.
- As you approach a small obstacle or crack in the pavement, pop the tail of the board down with your back foot to initiate the jump.
- At the same time, use your front foot to flick the nose of the board up and to the side, so that it starts to flip in the air.
- As the board flips, tuck your knees up towards your chest to give you more height and control in the air.
- As the board completes its half flip, use your feet to guide it back down to the ground.
- Aim to land with both feet over the bolts on the board, and use your knees to absorb the impact of the landing.
- Roll away smoothly to complete the trick.
Remember, practice makes perfect! Start small and work your way up to bigger obstacles as you gain confidence and skill. And always be sure to wear protective gear like a helmet, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards to prevent injuries while skateboarding.
